IVs system<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The IV system concerns the IVs (individual values) that each Pok\u00e9mon has when captured. IVs are numbers from 1 to 31 in each of the Pok\u00e9mon’s attributes that directly influence total stats. This way, each Pok\u00e9mon has from 1 to 31 in HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defense and Speed. The closer \u00a0the IV is to 1, the lower \u00a0the benefit the Pok\u00e9mon will obtain from the IV, in the same way that the closer the IV is to 31, the better the Pok\u00e9mon’s attribute will be. All IVs can be seen by looking at the Pok\u00e9mon’s Pok\u00e9 Ball or using the Pok\u00e9Dex.<\/p>\n

Let’s look at the examples:<\/p>\n

\u2013 The Gengar shown in the image below is level 100+109. The image on the left shows Gengar’s statistics, without vitamins and EVs and with a neutral nature, with all IVs at 1. On the right, the image compares the difference in attributes with another Gengar that has all IVs at 31.<\/p>\n

The image below now compares the difference in HP between a Gengar that has IV 1 in HP and another that has IV 31 in the same attribute.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The Politoed shown in the image below is level 100+109. The image on the left shows the statistics of Politoed, without vitamin and without EVs, with all IVs at 1. On the right, the image compares the difference in attributes with another Politoed that has all IVs at 31.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Pok\u00e9mon shown previously are edited, so even though it’s not impossible, it’s very difficult to have a Pok\u00e9mon that has all 31 IVs and, therefore, be perfect. However, the examples above serve to show how each IV influences the final result of each Pok\u00e9mon. A Golem, for example, which does not have any base attack Sp. Attack, does not make a difference if it has IV 1 or 31 in Sp. Attack, in the same way as an Alakazam, if it has 1 or 31 IV in Attack, does not will make a difference. You need to analyze the Pok\u00e9mon and see which IVs are negligible and which are important for each Pok\u00e9mon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
